Kahlyn Day Centre programs are conducted in comfortable group rooms.
The program includes specialised therapy modules such as psychotherapy, relaxation, assertiveness training anxiety management, discussion groups, and a range of art and craft activities. For more information please speak to one of your nursing staff.
In the event of a fire, an alarm will sound and red lights flash. Staff will direct proceedings during any fire alarm. Emergency Fire Exit doors are located in areas highlighted by the green and white exit lights.
Kahlyn Day Centre is committed to good health for everyone and smoking is not permitted inside the facility, however designated smoking areas are available outside in the garden gazebo.
Limited car parking is available.
Bus 106 runs regularly to Magill from the City and the nearest stop to the facility is bus stop 17. Bus times tables are available from reception at Kahlyn Day Centre.
When you are admitted please ask our staff if mobiles can be used in your room. Mobiles may be used in all public areas including the coffee shop. Kahlyn Day Centre does not accept any responsibility for loss or damage to your mobile phone.
Two free local phones are available to patients.
Patient Feedback form
Patients are encouraged to give their feedback on their experience with us. The Group facilitator distributes feedback forms. Results are compiled and distributed to Department Heads and the General Manager monthly.
